How to Create an RTimer

The following example code demonstrates how to set up an RTimer.

Create the RTimer object
Call CreateLocal() on the timer object
Provide a TRequestStatus request.


RTimer timer; 
TRequestStatus timerStatus; // Request status associated with timer
timer.CreateLocal();        // Create for this thread
...                         // Now add code to use the timer

Note

The timer is always thread-relative.
