Persistent stores

A store is persistent if you can close it, re-open it, and then gain access to the same data. For example, data files on disk are persistent data stores.

  A store is persistent if you can close it, re-open it, and then gain access to the same data.
• Non-persistent stores
  A non-persistent store exists for the life of the object which represents that store.
