Building for ARMI will in general be more difficult
than building for WINS/WINSCW and it is normal to find
additional compiler errors and warnings from gcc on the
first attempt. This is firstly because gcc is in many
situations stricter than the Microsoft compiler, and also has some subtle
differences that will come out the first time an ARMI build
is attempted. The following sections cover a few of the most common pitfalls.
