Hardware debugging presentation

Connect the crash debugger

•Launch terminal emulator (e.g. hyperterm) on your PC

•Connect serial port to serial port which provides debug tracing

•The terminal window should show a “password” prompt

•Type in “replacement” and you have entered the debug monitor prompt

…the kernel is frozen allowing you to interrogate it’s current state
