Selecting "Party" from the main menu allows
you to form a party and play cooperatively
with other players.
A party can consist of up to six players,
and allows the party members to divide the
treasure, EXP, and gil obtained from
defeating monsters.

Selecting "Party" displays the following
commands.

This option displays a Seek Party
icon next to your character's name.
This icon can be seen by other players,
and indicates your wish to join a party.
The icon also appears next to your character's name in
Search and Find Member lists.

&pre=01; Once you select "Seek Party," the "Seek Party" option will
change to "Play Solo."
Selecting "Play Solo" will cancel your display of the Seek

This option allows you to view a list of player characters
currently in your area.

This option displays an Autogroup icon next to your
name. This icon can be seen by other players, and
indicates your wish to automatically form a party.

Once you select "Autogroup," the "Autogroup" option
will change to "Play Solo." Select this to remove
your Autogroup status.

&li= ;This command allows you to select your preferred language. You can choose from "English," "French," "German," "Japanese, " or "Other." A player's language setting will appear to the right of their name in search results when the "Seek Party" or "Mentor" flags have been activated (E, F, G, and J indicate English, French, German, and Japanese respectively).&li;

There are two ways for a player to form a party.
The first way is to become a leader and search for
members.
The second way is to be invited to join a party
formed by another player.

a party automatically by using "Autogroup."

Select "Find Member" from the Party menu to display a
list of player characters in Seek Party status in your area.
Select a player you wish to invite to your party from the
list and press the confirm button.
Then, select "Invite" from the resulting menu.
When you select "Invite," a message will be sent to the
other player indicating that they have been invited to join
a party.

press the confirm button, a message may appear in your
log window.
This is a comment that can be entered by a player from
the Search menu. &style;

If you are displaying a Seek Party icon, you may be
invited to join another player's party.
If you are invited to join a party, a message will appear
in your log window.
Select "Party" from the main menu and then "Yes" to accept

A party can consist of up to six players, but you can use
the "Alliance" feature to form an alliance between
several parties.
An alliance can consist of up to three parties.
By forming an alliance of three six-member parties, up to
18 players can play cooperatively.

To form an alliance between party A and party B:

The leader of party A targets the leader of party B. Then,
the leader of party A selects "Party" from the main menu,
then "Alliance," and presses the confirm button.
A message asking "Would you like to join an alliance?"
will appear in the log window of party B's leader.
Party B's leader can then select "Alliance" and "Yes" to
form the alliance.
&pre=01; Once an alliance has been formed, the characters in the
other party will appear in a window at the upper right of
the screen.
The party leader who initiated the alliance invitation is
set as the alliance leader, and is indicated by a white
mark to the left of their name.

The distribution rules are the same as those used for
parties.

member of your party.
If you are the leader of the alliance, the alliance
leadership authority will be ceded as well.

This function cannot be used while you are part of an
alliance.

If the alliance consists of three parties, this command
will change to "Dissolve."
Selecting it withdraws your party from the alliance.
If you are the alliance leader, selecting this will dissolve
the alliance.

When choosing the autogroup function, an icon will be
displayed beside your name, and you will be automatically
grouped with characters of a similar level within the
same region.
The requirements for being autogrouped are mainly decided
by level difference and job type.
If there are many characters in the same area displaying
the autogroup icon, why not give autogrouping a try?
