Also, further equipment changes can be made while penalized. However, caution should be taken when performing these actions, as a player will be vulnerable to attacks from nearby players. &pre=01;&style=Tk15w_3; Special Abilities&style; &style=spacer01; &style; [Provoke] Provoke can be used to lock the target of an enemy player. While provoked, a player can only target the provoker. All actions performed by the person provoked (attacks, magic, items, etc.) will be directed at the provoker. This ability can be used to help members of your force who are in trouble. However, Provoke is not guaranteed to take effect. &pre=01; [Steal] Petras can be stolen from members of the opposing force by using this ability. &style=spacer01; &style; [Mug] Increases the chances of stealing large numbers of Petras from a member of the opposing force. &style=spacer01; &style; Auto Attack During Ballista, the range of all melee weapons is increased. &style=spacer01; &style; "Resist" Abilities All "Resist" abilities are enhanced. &pre=01; Weapon Skills The range of all melee weapon skills is increased. However, that of ranged weapons is not affected. &pre=01;&style=Tk15w_3; TP&style; &style=spacer01; &style;  TP will be reset at the following times: -Match commencement -Returning to camp after KO -Moving to a new area -Logging out &pre=01;&style=Tk15w_3; Magic Resistance&style; &style=spacer01; &style;  Resistance to the black magic spells "Gravity" and "Bind," the white magic spell "Silence," and the bard song "Lullaby" gradually increases the more the spell is used. This resistance decreases with time. Match commencement or returning to camp after a KO will reset the resistance to a fixed level. &pre=01;&style=Tk15w_3; Consumable Items&style; &style=spacer01; &style;  The use of consumable items such as food and potions is only allowed in certain areas. Consumable items disappear on use during Ballista. In areas where the use of consumable items is prohibited, only temporary items may be used. &pre=01;&style=Tk15w_3; Temporary Items&style; &style=spacer03; &style; &style=spacer03; &style; &style=spacer03; &style; &style=spacer03; &style; &style=spacer03; &style; &style=spacer03; &style; &style=spacer03; &style; &style=spacer03; &style; &style=spacer03; &style; Temporary items may be found by using the Quarry command. They may be used at any time, but will disappear at the end of the match. &pre=01; Players may only have one of each temporary item at a time. If the player tries to hold too many temporary items or already has the item he/she has just quarried, he/she will be given an option of using the item immediately or discarding it. This option will not be displayed if the player is in possession of a "Petra Shovel." Ballista Points may also be exchanged for a "voucher." The voucher will be automatically traded for a certain temporary item at the beginning of a match. However, if that temporary item is not allowed in the match, the voucher will remain with the player as a key item. &pre=01;&style=Tk15w_3; Key Items&style;  Players may borrow the key items "Ballista Earring," "Ballista Shovel," and "Ballista Band" from a Pursuivant free of charge. &style=spacer02; &style;  "Ballista Earring" While in possession of this key item, players can receive information on the next Ballista match and entry period upon entering any of the three nations or Jeuno from the day before a match until the end of the entry period. &pre=01; "Petra Shovel" Temporary items quarried by a player in possession of a Petra Shovel will be automatically placed in that player's inventory. The player will not be asked whether to keep the item or to discard it. If the player quarries an item that is already in his/her inventory or cannot carry any more items, the quarried item will be automatically discarded. &pre=01; "Ballista Band" When wearing this during a Ballista match, players will have the choice of keeping or throwing away the first quarried Petra. &style=spacer01; &style;  &style=Ty15;*Players can return Ballista key items by speaking to a Pursuivant.&style; &pre=1;&image=ng01;&style=Tk15w_3;Terminology&style;
