&style=spacer01; &style;
Official matches are held according to schedule. You can
view the schedule for matches that are to be held within
one week (Earth time) by speaking to the NPC Afdeen in
Upper Jeuno or to a Pursuivant in San d'Oria, Bastok, or
Windurst.
&pre=01; [How to Participate]
&style=spacer01; &style;
To participate in an official match, you must speak to
Afdeen in Upper Jeuno before the match and travel to
Abdhaljs Isle-Purgonorgo. If you have already spoken to
Afdeen about Brenner, you may also participate by talking
to a Pursuivant in San d'Oria, Bastok, or Windurst.
Transportation to the Isle is free and requires no specific
items. However, your main job must fulfill the level
restriction requirements.
&pre=1; *Level restrictions in an official match session refer to
both the minimum level required for participation and the
level of players during the session. For example, a player
whose main job is under 30 cannot participate in a level 30
match. Players over level 30 can participate, but will be
restricted to level 30 during the match.
*Only level 75 players may participate in matches set to
"no restriction." In these matches, all players are the
same level, so no restriction will be placed on the players
during the match.
&pre=1; [How to Register for a Match]
&style=spacer01; &style;
Each official match session is comprised of three matches.
To submit a temporary application, you must speak to a
Herald after reaching the Isle and pay the participation
fee during the entry period.
&style=spacer01; &style;
Participation fee per match:
Level 30: 300 gil
Level 40: 400 gil
Level 50: 500 gil
Level 60: 600 gil
No restriction: 750 gil
&pre=01;&style=Ty15; *In the event that the match is cancelled due to a lack of
participants, the Herald will return your participation fee
and any charges incurred when setting the match rules.&style;
&style=spacer01; &style;
Each player who has completed the registration process is
allowed to change one rule per official match session for
a fee. However, a rule that has already been changed
cannot be altered again.
&style=spacer01; &style;
&style=Ty15; *Refer to "Rule Adjustment" under "Brenner
Basic Rules" for more information.&style;
&pre=01;&image=ng01;&style=Tk15w_3;Private Matches&style;
&style=spacer01; &style;
[Private Matches]
&style=spacer01; &style;
Private matches allow players to reserve Abdhaljs
Isle-Purgonorgo for their own use and to have control over
participant recruitment. The NPC Afdeen in Upper Jeuno
manages all private match procedures.
&pre=01;1. Making a Reservation
&style=spacer01; &style;
Private match reservations can be made up to two Earth
days in advance, unless the time block is already
reserved for an official match. For example, at 16:00 on
April 1st, you could make a reservation for any available
time until 16:00 on April 3rd. Reservations are available
in two-hour blocks (e.g., 20:00-22:00, 22:00-24:00,
24:00-02:00).
&pre=01;2. Brenner Bluebook / Blackbook
&style=spacer01; &style;
If you make a reservation in advance, you will receive a
Brenner Bluebook. If you make a same-day reservation,
you will receive a Brenner Blackbook. The Brenner Bluebook
and Brenner Blackbook cost 500 gil each. At this time, you
can set the match level restriction and reservation comment.
The level restriction and reservation time will be recorded
in the Bluebook or Blackbook for your personal reference.
&pre=01; [Level Restrictions]
You can restrict the match session to level 10, 20, 30, 40,
50, or 60, or you may choose to impose no restriction (All
players must be level 75). This restriction will be imposed
on all matches in the session and cannot be changed.
&style=spacer03; &style;
[Reservation Comments]
Recruiting Members: Allows players who wish to participate
in the match to receive a page of the Brenner Bluebook by
speaking to Afdeen.
&pre=01; Recruiting for LS Liga: Allows linkshell leaders participating
in LS Liga to receive a page of the Brenner Bluebook by
speaking to Afdeen.
&style=spacer03; &style;
&style=Ty15; *You can set a reservation comment only if you have
already made a reservation.
*You can set your reservation comment to "Recruiting for
LS Liga" only if you are a linkshell leader participating in
LS Liga and have already made a reservation.
*It is possible to change your reservation comment. &style;
&pre=01;3. Completing the Reservation Process and Match
Participation
Trade a Brenner Bluebook to Afdeen in the 15 minutes
before the reservation time to complete the Isle
reservation process. If you fail to do so, your reservation
will be cancelled even if you still possess a Brenner
Bluebook. However, holders of a Brenner Blackbook do not
need to complete this procedure.
&style=spacer01; &style;
You can adjust the following settings by speaking to Afdeen:
&pre=01; -Allow/Restrict General Participation (Default: Restrict)
Setting this option to "Allow General Participation" will
enable players who wish to participate to receive a page of
the Brenner Bluebook directly from the NPC. Prospective
participants can speak to the NPC to confirm the match's
level restriction.
&style=spacer02; &style;
-Allow/Restrict Gallery (Default: Restrict)
Setting this option to "Allow Gallery" will enable players to
travel to the Isle and observe the match for a fee. Gallery
members cannot register for the match even if they possess
a Bluebook or a Blackbook.
&pre=01;4. Entry Procedures
A Brenner Bluebook or Blackbook, or a Blackbook or
Bluebook page, is required to enter Abdhaljs
Isle-Purgonorgo. You can create a page by using a
Brenner Bluebook or Blackbook as you would an item.
In turn, each page can be used to create more pages.
Trade the pages to prospective participants so that they
can also travel to the Isle.
&pre=01; By setting the reservation comment to "Recruiting
Members" or setting the match to allow general
participation, you will enable prospective participants to
receive a page of the Brenner Bluebook or Brenner Blackbook
from the NPC.
However, gallery participants do not require these items.
&pre=01;5. Traveling to the Isle
Trade a Brenner Bluebook, a Brenner Blackbook, or a
Blackbook or Bluebook page to Afdeen during the Isle
reservation time to travel to Abdhaljs Isle-Purgonorgo.
A fee corresponding to the session's level restriction will
be incurred at the time of transportation.
&pre=01; Transportation Fees (collected once per session):&style;
&style=spacer01; &style;
Level 10: 100 gil
Level 20: 200 gil
Level 30: 300 gil
Level 40: 400 gil
Level 50: 500 gil
Level 60: 600 gil
No restriction: 750 gil
&pre=01; There is no main job restriction for transportation to the
Isle, but keep in mind that you may be unable to
participate in the match if your level is lower than
the level restriction set by the Master of Ceremonies (MC).
If you would like to watch a private match, speak to
Afdeen and select "View a match." Pay the transportation
fee, and you will travel to the isle. This option is
unavailable when the gallery participation setting is set
to "Restricted."
&pre=01;6. Master of Ceremonies (MC)
The first player to trade the Bluebook/Blackbook (or pages)
to the Herald on Abdhaljs Isle-Purgonorgo will become the
Master of Ceremonies (MC) and will be able to set match
rules.
&style=spacer01; &style;
7. Setting Rules
The MC can change a variety of match rules. For more
information, refer to "Rule Adjustment" under
"Brenner Basic Rules." After setting the rules, the MC
can begin the entry period at any time.
&pre=01;8. The Entry Period
After the MC begins the entry period, players can register
for participation in the next match by trading the
necessary items to the Herald. Private matches do not
require a participation fee.
&pre=01;&image=ng01;&style=Tk15w_3;Match Proceedings&style;
[Briefing]
After the entry period ends and a certain amount of time
has passed, the participants will be divided into two
teams. At the beginning of the briefing, linkshells will
be automatically unequipped and replaced by a special
team linkshell. After the briefing, the match will begin.
&pre=01; [The Match]
At the beginning of the match, Flammen-Brenner appear for
each team and the participants are moved to a location
near their team's camp.
All who are not participating in the match will become
invisible to the teams and contact between participants
and non-participants will be cut off, but beastmaster pets
will appear as normal. Match proceedings are the same for
both official and private matches.
&style=spacer01; &style;
&style=Ty15;*Refer to "Brenner Basic Rules" for more information.&style;
&pre=01; [After the Match]
The match ends when a team succeeds in lighting all of
their Flammen-Brenner and protecting them for a set
period of time, or the match time runs out.
Both teams' players are lined up and the results are
announced. After an official match, players may receive
experience points depending on their contribution to the
match.
&pre=01;&image=ng01;&style=Tk15w_3;LS Liga&style;
LS Liga is a type of private match played between linkshell
members. Players can apply for an LS Liga match after their
linkshell leader speaks to the Marshal in Upper Jeuno and
registers their linkshell. Only one linkshell may be
registered per linkshell leader.
A record of the last 15 matches played is kept for each
linkshell participating in LS Liga. You can view this record
by speaking to the Marshal and selecting "LS Liga Ranking
Information."
