Unlike missions, quests are events
triggered by speaking to specific
NPCs (non-player characters) in
towns.
For example, you may be asked to
go collect a certain item in a specific location.
&pre=01; Not only can you receive items or gil for completing these
requests, but you can obtain hints that relate to playing
the game as well.

Speak to townspeople, and you may eventually discover
powerful items that you have never seen before.
Remember that some quests may never be spoken of by
NPCs...
&pre=01; Unlike missions, quests can be accepted regardless of your
allegiance.
Furthermore, you can accept new quests even if you have
not completed previous ones.
There is no limit to the number of quests you can accept.
&style=spacer01; &style;
&style=Ty15;*You can view a list of "Current" and "Completed" quests
by selecting "Quests" from the main menu.&style;

You are not required to accept any quests to proceed
through the game, but doing so can add an extra
dimension to your playing experience.
In addition, helping townspeople can increase your
reputation within a town.
For a challenge to end all challenges, try to complete them
all!
