FFXI: Quests &pre=01;&style=Tk15w_3;&image=ng01;Quests&style; &style=spacer01; &style;  Unlike missions, quests are events triggered by speaking to specific NPCs (non-player characters) in towns. For example, you may be asked to go collect a certain item in a specific location. &pre=01; Not only can you receive items or gil for completing these requests, but you can obtain hints that relate to playing the game as well. &style=spacer03; &style;  Speak to townspeople, and you may eventually discover powerful items that you have never seen before. Remember that some quests may never be spoken of by NPCs... &pre=01; Unlike missions, quests can be accepted regardless of your allegiance. Furthermore, you can accept new quests even if you have not completed previous ones. There is no limit to the number of quests you can accept. &style=spacer01; &style;  &style=Ty15;*You can view a list of "Current" and "Completed" quests by selecting "Quests" from the main menu.&style; &pre=01;&style=Tk15w_3; Enjoying Quests&style; &style=spacer01; &style;  You are not required to accept any quests to proceed through the game, but doing so can add an extra dimension to your playing experience. In addition, helping townspeople can increase your reputation within a town. For a challenge to end all challenges, try to complete them all!
