&image=tl01; Step 3 - Make a Character ! &image=tl02;
&pre=01;&image=ca01;Now we're going to create a character to go adventuring in Vana'diel, kupo!
First, you need to select
&style=Tr14;“Create Character”&style; from the FINAL FANTASY XI title screen.
&pre=01;There are seven steps to creating your character:
(1)Race and sex > (2)Face > (3)Hair color >
(4)Body size > (5)Starting job >
(6) Name and World > (7)Home country.
Let's look at them in order, kupo!♪
&pre=01;&image=ca02;First, you need to select a race and sex for your character (these are five races and total of eight possible combinations).
Each race has its own special characteristics, so choose carefully, kupo!
&pre=01;&image=ca03;Once you've chosen your character's race and sex, you need to choose a face type, kupo.
It doesn't matter which one you choose, so pick your favorite, kupo!
&pre=01;&image=ca04;Next, choose your character's hair color, kupo.
If you make a character that looks good, you might start to get attached, kupo!♪
&pre=01;&image=ca05;What size do you want your character to be, kupo?
Choose from small, medium, or large, kupo.
Your character's size won't affect the game, but it will change how your character looks, kupo.
&pre=01;&image=ca06;Your character needs a job to start the game.
Try to pick one that fits your character's race, but don't worry about it to much, because you can always change your job later, kupo!
&pre=01;&image=ca07;Now you can enter your character Name and World, kupo.
You can't choose a name that somebody else already has, so be careful, kupo!
If you have a GoldWorldPass, enter it to start in that world, kupo!
Once you’ve finished, you can select your World, kupo!
&pre=01;&image=ca08;Last, you need to select a country, kupo!
Now you can finally head out into Vana'diel, kupo!
Let's go, kupo!
If you don't know what to do next, you read Step 4, Starting your Adventure, kupo!
