Licensing framework

The TLicenseUse class is the core of the Licensing framework; it contains all of the base level primitives needed for license verification. Each developer of a licensed product must derive a class from the TLicenseUse base class, which allows the licensed product to provide product-specific behavior and overrides the standard TLicenseUse member functions for customization. The TLicenseUse class facilitates the interactions between the licensed product and the Licensing framework.

The relationships among the classes for client services are shown in Figure 20. The derived class for the licensed product is shown in gray; the classes for the Licensing framework are shown in white.
