Stock Browser uses CommonPoint frameworks and class libraries whenever possible. Because Taligent has incorporated framework integration into the design, it's much easier to get the various program subsystems to work together.

The Desktop frameworks offer a number of frameworks from which to start building a program. Stock Browser specifically uses the Presentation framework for the Stock Picker and the Stock Viewer because it is the framework for building programs that comply with the CommonPoint human interface guidelines for graphical user interfaces.
