Interesting mechanisms

A few of the more interesting parts of Stock Browser are the mechanisms for responding to a user's placement of a stock on the Stock Viewer, responding to a user's selection of an item from the View menu, and reconstructing a graph. To understand the object interactions at work, study the diagrams in this section.

Lots of smaller mechanisms are best explained by the code. For a guide to these micro-mechanisms, refer to Appendix A, "Mechanism Grab Bag."
