The Web Document subsystem provides text display capabilities which comprise the user's interface to the WebRunner Sample. The Web Link subsystem interacts within this subsystem as an embedded component.
The Data Access subsystem retrieves data from local and remote computers using CERN's data access library (LibWWW). This subsystem "jumps" from
an abstract Uniform Resource Locator (URL) to the hypertextual data
it references.
The Translation subsystem installs global translators which support conversion from third party file formats to CommonPoint data types.
The Web Link subsystem responds to user requests within the WebRunner Sample by opening a new viewer document or by prompting the Command subsystem to modify the contents of the current viewer, as appropriate.
The Command subsystem provides the mechanism that enables a hypertext link to tell a document to jump to a hypertext page.
The Graphic Document subsystem displays graphics as document components.
