Programming examples

This section illustrates the use of most of the numerical features of the CommonPoint application system. Although not every function from the library and the classes appears here, these examples cover the most common idioms of numerical programming.

According to CommonPoint convention, the name of the logarithm library function is capitalized--Log. When it's important to distinguish between the library function and its associated mathematical function, the mathematical function is written in lowercase--log.
