Creating an area

The shape is created by starting with an initial geometry and then adding to, subtracting from, intersecting with, or performing an exclusiveor operation on that initial geometry until the desired shape is created. An area geometry constructed from a rectangle, ellipse, and polygon is shown in Figure 62. The final area is outlined by the heavier line. When the graphic is filled and framed, only the portions delineated by the heavy outline are filled and framed.
