Deleting syncable clocks

When you delete a syncable clock, any delays set on that clock are canceled (unblocking the delays). If there are other clocks synchronized to the clock you delete, the clock architecture keeps track of the deleted clock until all of the synchronized clocks are deleted. For example, in the clock hierarchy shown in Figure 21, clock A is not actually removed until clocks B and C are also deleted. When B and C are deleted, all three clocks are removed from the hierarchy.
