Question: When creating an AIF file, in what order should I add the images to the .mbm file?
Answer: The order of files in the .mbm file, or in the .lst file, is important. It should be smallest to largest, in icon and mask
                           pairs. So (using the Boss example) you might have a file "bossmbm.lst" with the contents: boss.mbm boss16i.bmp boss16m.bmp boss24i.bmp boss24m.bmp boss32i.bmp boss32m.bmp boss48i.bmp boss48m.bmp
The first line is the name of the .mbm file to be generated. This file will be created by running
                         bmconv bossmbm.lst

                        from the command line.
