By default, the S60 platform creates a status pane at the top of the
screen when it loads an application. Applications can define and modify the Context
pane, Title pane, and Navi pane subpanes. If your application
requires a behavior that requires a specific resource (see Status panes),
you must define a status pane resource in EIK_APP_INFO.
The following changes can be made:
different layouts from the precompiled options available with the S60 platform can be used at startup for the status pane
status panes can be built from resource declarations
