You probably require more sophisticated interaction with the model and the data than has been presented thus far. It is not sufficient to simply create a model to hold your data. You also need to create a means of operating on the data. Ideally, this new mechanism will also support collaboration if and when you use it.
More complex interactions with the model and data will require:
- A selection class that specifies what data is to be operated upon
- A command class that uses this selection to target operations on the data
- An embedding class (a type of model) that understands how to embed a document component
