Licensing framework
The Licensing framework is the heart of the Licensing Server. This framework, shown in Figure 10, is a set of classes and objects that provides product developers with an API for performing licensing requests. The framework is called by the licensed product at run time to verify that an appropriate activation key has been purchased and installed.
NOTE 
The Licensing framework part of the Licensing Service is the only one included in the current release.
