The user now has to make some decisions about how the product will be used. In one scenario, a single license can be purchased for a single user or a single machine; alternatively, a floating license with a large number of licensing units can be purchased, allowing a number of users to access the product simultaneously.
The user provides ordering information to the product vendor, identifying the product to be purchased and an available license provider.
