Selections depend on their clients to acquire a document component read or write monitor entry (in order to ensure that they can operate in a concurrent environment). The Compound Document framework TDocumentComponentCommandBinding object automatically grabs a lock (TDocumentComponentWriteEntry) on the target component. It determines the target component by determining the value of the model selection, component selection, or presenter state selection.
