All interaction in GrafEdit begins with a cursor tool. Cursor tools decouple interactions from the rest of the application to give you a high-level, extensible, and elegant model for creating graphical editing programs. The decoupling lets you do the following:
- Add new tools, interactors, and commands to a program without affecting any other classes in the program.
- Use any of the other concrete GrafEdit classes and extend them without affecting the cursor tools, interactors, and commands already in the program.
