How components are represented
A component can be represented either as an enclosable icon (an object in iconic form that can be enclosed inside another object) or as a
frame
:
When a component is represented as an enclosable icon, it indicates that the component is enclosed within another component.
When a component is represented as a frame, it indicates that the component is embedded within another component. The frame typically displays a component's contents. In fact, a component's contents should only be editable when the component is displayed as a frame.
NOTE
Enclosure is not supported in the current release.
An enclosable icon can be selected or unselected, but never active.
