Introduction to using TestDriver

Before using TestDriver you need to make sure it has been configured correctly. It is possible to change the configuration at any time, using the config option.

You also need to make sure that you have supplied all the relevant XML files describing your test suite hierarchy. See Defining test XML.

The options available when using the TestDriver are as follows:

• Viewing the suite tree structure - this shows the structure of the suite hierarchy, and is a useful diagnostic feature.

• Building tests and test suites - once defined in the XML structure.

• Building test packages.

• Running tests and test suites or test packages.
