Momentary controls

You use momentary controls to initiate actions. The only momentary controls provided in CommonPoint are push buttons, shown in Figure 40 and momentary menu items (which are described in "Menus" on page 102).


Push buttons can adopt one or two labels which you can lay out in four different layouts, relative to each other as shown. Push buttons center these labels within the overall bounds of the control.

A Momentary control state has one purpose and that is to respond to the user clicking on the control. Most momentary control states result in some action.
