Member Function Documentation

CancelConvertL ( )

IMPORT_C voidCancelConvertL()[virtual]

Reimplemented from CMdaImageUtility::CancelConvertL()

Cancels any conversion in progress.

The callback function MMdaImageUtilObserver::MiuoConvertComplete() is not called.

ConvertL ( CFbsBitmap &, TInt )

IMPORT_C voidConvertL(CFbsBitmap &aBitmap,
TIntaFrameNumber = 0
)[virtual]

Reimplemented from CMdaImageUtility::ConvertL(CFbsBitmap &,TInt)

Converts a bitmap.

The operation is asynchronous. When the conversion operation is complete, successfully or otherwise, the callback function MMdaImageUtilObserver::MiuoConvertComplete() is called.

Parameters
aBitmapThe destination bitmap.
aFrameNumberThe frame number. This value is relative to zero.

ConvertL ( CFbsBitmap &, CFbsBitmap &, TInt )

IMPORT_C voidConvertL(CFbsBitmap &aBitmap,
CFbsBitmap &aMaskBitmap,
TIntaFrameNumber = 0
)[virtual]

Reimplemented from CMdaImageUtility::ConvertL(CFbsBitmap &,CFbsBitmap &,TInt)

Converts a bitmap with a mask. Not supported

Since
Not supported
Parameters
aBitmapA reference to the bitmap which is the target of the conversion operation.
aMaskBitmapThe overloaded variant which takes this argument is not supported for bitmap to bitmap conversion. This variant leaves with KErrNotSupported.
aFrameNumberThe frame number. This value is relative to zero.

DoCancel ( )

voidDoCancel()[virtual]

Reimplemented from CMdaImageUtility::DoCancel()

Implements cancellation of an outstanding request.

DoClose ( )

voidDoClose()[protected, virtual]

Reimplemented from CMdaImageUtility::DoClose()

NewL ( MMdaImageUtilObserver &, CMdaServer * )

IMPORT_C CMdaImageBitmapToBitmapUtility *NewL(MMdaImageUtilObserver &aObserver,
CMdaServer *aServer = 0
)[static]

Constructs and initialises a new instance of the bitmap converter.

The function leaves if the bitmap converter object cannot be created.

Parameters
aObserverThe image utility observer interface.
aServerA pointer to a server object. The default is NULL which means that one is automatically constructed and owned by this conversion utility object. If not NULL, the client must construct, and be responsible for, the server object. This option may be more efficient if a number of conversion utility objects are to be created.
Return Value
A pointer to the new bitmap converter object.

OpenL ( CFbsBitmap & )

IMPORT_C voidOpenL(CFbsBitmap &aBitmap)

Opens the bitmap converter utility.

The function is asynchronous. When the open operation is complete, successfully or otherwise, the callback function MMdaImageUtilObserver::MiuoOpenComplete() is called.

The source bitmap must be open before any conversion operation can start.

Parameters
aBitmapThe bitmap to be used as the source for subsequent conversions.

RunL ( )

voidRunL()[virtual]

Reimplemented from CActive::RunL()

Handles an active object's request completion event.

A derived class must provide an implementation to handle the completed request. If appropriate, it may issue another request.

The function is called by the active scheduler when a request completion event occurs, i.e. after the active scheduler's WaitForAnyRequest() function completes.

Before calling this active object's RunL() function, the active scheduler has:

1. decided that this is the highest priority active object with a completed request

2. marked this active object's request as complete (i.e. the request is no longer outstanding)

RunL() runs under a trap harness in the active scheduler. If it leaves, then the active scheduler calls RunError() to handle the leave.

Note that once the active scheduler's Start() function has been called, all user code is run under one of the program's active object's RunL() or RunError() functions.
