Printing services
Most computer applications require printing services. The CommonPoint application system provides several levels of printing support:
- The Presentation framework gives programs the default capability to print the main view exactly as it appears on the screen.
- The Basic Document framework provides an interface for enhancing the Presentation framework printing capability with capabilities that include:
- Allowing the user to specify page ranges
- Performing preprocessing on your print jobs
- Providing pagination aids
- Printing services give you direct control if you are implementing your own printable presentations or writing a program outside of the Desktop frameworks.
Printing services provides a flexible printing architecture that supports standard and nonstandard devices, improved graphic imaging, color matching, and other unique services.
